[After... all of the shit that meeting ended up being it gave 2-D some time to think. Think with his fake brain and his fake feelings that felt so damn real it physically hurt. He.. knew that the stuff that happened while he was alive was real, and part of him honestly hoped it hadn't been as confusing and horrifying the idea of it was. Part of him hoped that his murder was just an error -- a virus in his coding that made him snap but it wasn't. It was real, human emotion that led to such a tragic event and that in itself was hard to swallow. It's been hard to swallow and he's lucky that some of the people here have been nice enough to give him the benefit of the doubt, like Hank and Yoosung.
And though he did apologize and explain his motives to Maya he still just felt... awful. He knew she didn't need to forgive him and he wasn't looking for that forgiveness, but he felt he needed to do more. Make more of an effort to show her how sorry he was, and how he wanted to make it up to her. Which got him thinking about home. About how Murdoc was the cause of their guitarist almost getting killed in a ball of fire, and how he apologizes to her every chance he gets. Makes her a cup of tea every single day since then. That's.. a start. It means nothing when it comes from a pathological liar but 2-D isn't Murdoc.
He... he isn't like him at all. Right?
So he goes to Maya's room after the meeting, and knocks on her door lightly, a bouquet of freshly picked -- and not trampled -- flowers in his hand and a warm smile on his face. He'll try to make it right, he's got the second chance to.]

[After all that is said and done with Maya, 2-D retreats to his room.. er.. one of the rooms not being used for a little while. He heard at one point about Vivienne and Megumi, and that she passes between the living and the dead when she pleases and it got him wondering... if... maybe he could tell them something. There were so many things he wanted to say but couldn't at the time of his trial, and now that he's had so much time to reflect he tries to put it all together in a letter.
One that he re-writes, and re-writes, and re-writes until his wrist aches and the frustration of not being able to write anything out properly has him give up. He sighs and takes his stack of paper and pen and sets out to find Vivienne-- and when he does he looks quite troubled.]
Er, um.. Miss Vivienne, would you uh.. well. Would you mind helping me with writing a letter? I write lyrics all the time so I thought I'd be okay by myself but for some reason nothin' is coming out good on paper.
[He hands it out to her, most of it being scribbled to bits besides a few words like "sorry" "not your fault" and "miss you".]
