LOCATIONS.

DORMITORIES

The seem a little… nicer than the ones you were staying in at the start of the “game.” The colors are slightly brighter, and there’s more natural light available. Probably because the windows for the rooms here seem to face almost entirely east, which is unfortunate, since the blinds aren’t that strong, and there aren’t any curtains to speak of. Maybe there will be later. But there are several components to the dormitories:

ROOMS

  • 2 beds

  • 2 desks

  • 2 dressers

  • 2 separate closets

  • 1 shared bathroom per 2 rooms, includes shower and sink

Minimalist in design, these all come with rather standard, default fittings. The dressers even have the most boring set of clothes you can think of. There are probably other ways to fix this, but you’ll have to get creative.

SHARED KITCHEN AREA

In this kitchen area, you have everything you need for a standard kitchen. There’s even a shared dishwasher with a helpful little sticker that you can flip to say whether things are dirty or clean! Helpful!

However, there’s no food here for anyone to cook. That’s unfortunate, maybe there is a way to get some?

COMMON AREA

In the common area, there are tables for studying, but mostly couches. The tables line along the back wall, about three in total. There are four couches in the opposite corners, with a TV and video game set for one, and a sound/karaoke set for the other. The Karaoke set, however, doesn’t have any songs loaded.

Along the back wall, between the tables, is a message board. There’s nothing there for now, but things can be posted!

CAFETERIA

In the same building as the dormitories, a rather basic cafeteria-- there are plenty of seats for everyone, but there’s nothing really special about the food served here. A menu is posted near the front showing what each of the stations is serving on any given day.

There’s even a salad bar and cereal bar, if you prefer to eat the food your food eats.

One last note though, there are workers there behind the line, but their faces are unclear beyond generic “smiling”. At the same time, if you ask them about it, they brush you off and ask you to keep moving. There are plenty of people waiting for food.

At the front, it looks like there are simple voting machines. They’re turned off… but why would anyone have something to vote on here?

LIBRARY

The library has more tables! There places to check out books, audio files, and old newspapers, just like any good library would. This library is broken up into 4 floors, with individual study areas with mandatory “quiet” time on the first two floors, and group study rooms on the top two floors.

The computers are powered down, with a nice “out of order, try the computer lab” signs over them, and the newspapers are locked behind a closed door on the third floor and a flipped “will return” sign.

But at least every floor has books! Books are fun, right?

COMPUTER LAB

Locked. The library lied.

CLASSROOMS

The classrooms are in the same building as the computer lab, but there are mostly auditorium style classes that have no defining features about them. But of the three classes that do…

LITERATURE

  • Classic literature, and some modern hits

  • Lots of paper and pens for note taking

  • Seems to bridge cultures…

ART

  • Paints

  • Canvases

  • Dyes

  • Wood and carving knives

HISTORY

  • You can listen to the entire Hamilton musical in this room

  • It looks pretty standard US/international history

  • The classroom hosts both types of history
