[On Sunday morning, everyone will find a note slipped under their doors. It's written a little poorly but hopefully it's easy enough to read!

It says:

Hi everyone, this is 2-D from Gorillaz. First of all I think it'd be nice if you started calling me by my real name, since I'm not part of Gorillaz anymore. They've probably already replaced me by now, anyway. So if you could call me Stuart or Stu-Pot, if that's what you fancy, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. 2-D is still okay too. I think it sounds very cool but it feels weird now that I'm dead. :( And I don't want everyone to just think of me as a celebrity. I'm a friend, too. Or at least I'd like to be.

Anyway, I wanted to hold one of those meetings for everyone. I realized I don't know a lot about everyone here and there's a lot you don't know about me, so I think it'd be fun if we all got together at Starbucks and talked over some tea. :) Or coffee. Or water. We could talk about hobbies and favourite movies. I like "Day of the Dead".

We're the only people that we have anymore, so I don't want to be strangers. It's okay if you don't want to come, since I do realize it's scary to be in the same room as murderers. So don't feel any pressure. I'm sure you're a lovely person that everyone would love to get to know better, you can take your time with that. Or not bother, if you'd rather. I won't be mad, I promise.

Also, I want to hold music lessons. I forgot eleven years of music experience when I was alive, but now I remember and I know how to sing and play the pianos, along with guitar, banjo, melodica, panflute, and I can make cool bloopy noises with the computer programs in the recording studio. If you want to learn something from me, please don't be shy and ask.

Investigation: Robotics Lab

[So now that the Phantom Guild's numbers have bolstered somewhat, the two leaders have made an official movement to conduct their first major investigation as a team! Starting with sharing the Office Files to ensure everyone has seen them, and then moving to the lab itself. Just outside the door, he turns to the others in the group with him to make a final pep talk. It's not quite the same as debriefing everyone on how they're going to fight a boss monster, but on the other hand the importance feels much greater. He tries to stand at his full height and look serious.]

Okay, so when we get in there, we might meet all the robots from the profiles... though they might be sleeping, if any of them wake up we should act natural. Let them know that we're Vivi's friends and not a threat, you know?

[he may unconsciously glance at Connor there, sorry Connor, but he doesn't know if they know what you tried - anyway, it's only for a moment, so he moves on, continuing with earnest.]

But we should still try to get information out of them if we can. Otherwise, we're going to see what this gets us into...

[He pulls Scott Gallivan's ID badge out of his blazer, showing it off.]

I'm holding on to it, so tell me if you find anything that scans a barcode.

[Yoosung lowers his hands then, taking a deep breath in anticipation.]

Are we ready?

[He's asking in case they need to take a moment to answer each other's questions or data transfer with the cat so she understands what any of this even is.]

[ Hank's pretty sure he also falls under the "not friends of Vivienne" group but whatever, he can always lie. These are some basic AIs, anyway. They probably can't tell the difference. ]

[Well if he frames it as the whole group, this is a group that contains friends of Vivi's so it's not technically lying.]

It was in the office. We found it while we were turning the place into our guild HQ... I've been holding onto it since then.

Gallivan's the one who made Megumi. He was Vivienne's teacher.

[ Hank may not like Vivienne but he's got the deets. This is why he tags along. ]

Makes sense she'd have him be some kind of master key here.

[ 2D's letter is so fucking cute and heartfelt, who wouldn't show up at Starbucks tbh. Hank is here—he's made nice with 2D (and he's definitely gonna keep calling him that unless he really asks) but yeah, he doesn't mind the thought of getting to know most of the people here. At the very least they only seem to be growing in numbers and since there isn't a lot they can do about that, they may as well commiserate.

And Starbucks is always good. Hank has a plain americano and he's being chill at one of the tables, sipping his coffee and working on smiling at most of the people who walk by. Death has actually improved his mood, generally, so that's good. ]

I think he was also her father or something, wasn't he...? They have the same last name, anyway.

Her uncle. He's really the only human she ever felt a connection to, before she met those of you in the entrance exam.

[ Mishima blinks, and gives Yoosung a quick glance. That's... they were seriously that important to her? Obviously she'd been willing to sacrifice a lot for them, but... ]

[He's glancing back at the same time. Because it explains a lot... poor Vivienne.

We all know a lot about loneliness here.]

I guess there's still a lot we don't know about her, even so. [guilt!! Let's change the subject.] But if Scott made some of these robots, that explains why only some of them act 'familial' with her... do you know if he made any others in the files, or is Megumi the only one you know about?

[Poor Vivienne indeed. No wonder she was so driven to protect the group when the first trial came about.

Maya doesn't have a lot to say right now, but boy is all of this a turn of events from months ago.

Hopefully no one finds out what they're doing.]

Scott created the robots that are killing the students [ ha ha ha and the one who killed connor isn't that hilarious!!! ] and Megumi. The others in the files were created by her, but they aren't technically robots.

[ ah, hm, ok, lets just a mini lesson real quick ]

Androids are robots with advanced AI that gives them a personality, like me. I suppose you could say they are the most human-seeming. Robots are machines without a very advanced AI. They are capable of performing tasks, but not acting like a human. A roomba, for example, is a robot. Those things that killed us without thinking about it are robots.

What Vivienne created are AI - she didn't have the technology to put them into bodies, at least last that I saw. [ he doesn't know vivienne made herself her real body and went back into it ] She created each of them to have a specific body, though, so her aim is to make with androids. With the exception of Eve, I suppose, whose function is to regulate this place.

She did make two animal androids. Calleto, the dog I think you're familiar with. And Elle, a bird.

[Yoosung is definitely guilty of using "robot" when he means "AI" in multiple scenarios so he takes this admonishment gently, nodding to show his understanding.]

Yeah, they were in the files I shared with you all. Although I didn't know C0RG1 had a new name now... and Eve's file was the only one that said she didn't have a body, so I just kinda assumed the rest would be robots. Lucian said he takes naps in the lab too. Aren't we going to find people sleeping?
