Hi everyone, this is 2-D from Gorillaz. First of all I think it'd be nice if you started calling me by my real name, since I'm not part of Gorillaz anymore. They've probably already replaced me by now, anyway. So if you could call me Stuart or Stu-Pot, if that's what you fancy, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. 2-D is still okay too. I think it sounds very cool but it feels weird now that I'm dead. :( And I don't want everyone to just think of me as a celebrity. I'm a friend, too. Or at least I'd like to be.
Anyway, I wanted to hold one of those meetings for everyone. I realized I don't know a lot about everyone here and there's a lot you don't know about me, so I think it'd be fun if we all got together at Starbucks and talked over some tea. :) Or coffee. Or water. We could talk about hobbies and favourite movies. I like "Day of the Dead".
We're the only people that we have anymore, so I don't want to be strangers. It's okay if you don't want to come, since I do realize it's scary to be in the same room as murderers. So don't feel any pressure. I'm sure you're a lovely person that everyone would love to get to know better, you can take your time with that. Or not bother, if you'd rather. I won't be mad, I promise.
Also, I want to hold music lessons. I forgot eleven years of music experience when I was alive, but now I remember and I know how to sing and play the pianos, along with guitar, banjo, melodica, panflute, and I can make cool bloopy noises with the computer programs in the recording studio. If you want to learn something from me, please don't be shy and ask.

Let's celebrate Chuseok!
However, there's also a little sign that invites everyone to come out to the garden at night to celebrate a Korean festival, Chuseok - which basically involves eating rice cakes together and wishing on the moon!! Out there, he's set up the gazebo with big platefuls of half-moon shaped rice cakes sitting on a bed of pine needles and containing sweet fillings like red bean, or chestnut paste (which he has improved upon since the crepes.) Since Yoosung isn't terribly skilled at folding them, they're kind of lumpy and weird looking, but the general half moon shape was still achieved somewhat. He's also made sure there is plenty of rice wine to drink!! And of course, they're outside, so they can look up at the full moon.
To whoever is gathered, he offers a bit of an explanation as he passes out snacks.]
So, um, I'm not going to be the best at explaining this, but in my culture a half or crescent moon is a symbol of victory. The full moon can only wane, while the half moon gets brighter.... so on the anniversary of a major victory between rival ancestral kingdoms, we look at the full moon and eat these rice cakes that are supposed to look like half moons. When we do that, we make a wish for the future.
[He takes his own last, holding onto it delicately as he smiles. He's about to go into something a little more personal, though, so he takes a moment to let the concept sink in first.]
Before that, we're supposed to visit our family graves, which I'm sad to miss. I like to pay respect to my ancestors, but there's also a lot I would want to say to Rika if I could...
[That's his favorite cousin who passed away. Those from the entrance exam may have heard of her - he would talk about her a lot, especially when thinking about what decisions to make. She's someone whose footsteps he'd like to follow.]

Except it's also a shooting range, complete with the little booths and some bright orange pistols that aren't armed with real bullets. They're paintballs! See, safety first. Hank has a nifty set of goggles on, and since they aren't real guns he doesn't need to wear earmuffs or any of that nonsense. Isn't that great? Come on in and take a shot! ]

At some point today, he acquires himself a couple of cans of spray paint (probably from Eve, since she seems to be the go-to for your fixes here in this simulated world) and sets off to paint graffiti all over the walls of the common area. It's been years since he's done graffiti art but it used to be one of the ways he'd let out stress and creativity when he was a teenager, and he kept it going into his 20's until he got too famous to be able to sneak out and tag something. Though he's not just writing words or drawing dicks all over the wall, he's more... painting a mural of some kind. Blocky figures and colours that come together to look like characterized images of well. The people he's met here in this school. Even including those from the previous round who had died.
It's kind of a present to his friends who've stuck by his side after all the hardships they've been through, and kind of a way to get out all this excess stress from.... the.. hardships they've been through. And he figures he can't be punished for ruining the walls now. He's already dead.]

I hope everyone has had time to practice together what we learned last week. That should have given you a better sense of your new capabilities as an AI. The more aware you are of them, the more you can reach out and change other things.
Today we're going to work on creating things. Rather than produce something out of thin air, we will work on changing the code that makes up your clothing to make it be something else.
Like last time, you should focus on what you're working with. Think about what it's like now, and start to imagine it in a different way.

SATURDAY MORNING, NOT NECESSARILY FOR ALL YOUR SATURDAY MORNING NEEDS
[Mitarai couldn't sleep after everything that happened. So of course he went back to the computer lab at first. Still nothing. In all likelihood nothing would change before the conclusion of the final exam on Saturday at the very earliest. Which was so many hours away. Twelve hours... Maybe fourteen hours... Thirteen hours... Where had he heard about something that took that amount of time? Mitarai got an... idea, that took him to the library.
When the sun is high in the simulated sky, there are signs in about three key locations: the dormitory, the main building entrance, and the computer lab.]
[The cafeteria really does contain several types of ramen bowls set up on a long table. The main offering is tonkotsu broth that does seem to have really been brewed from pork bones all night. Some bowls contain eggs, chashu pork, or both. There's a healthy assortment of toppings like bean sprouts and scallions mixed in, along with little bowls for extra helpings of these toppings. There's vegetarian broth to the side that was made from a powdered mix, and a platter with lightly garnished cuttings of unmitigated pork.
The kitchen upon further examination has plenty of evidence that deep cleaning occurred here - nearly half the floor is shiny from mop swipes, and the disposal in the sink is full of noodles, and the trash cans are full of imprecisely chopped vegetables, and the shelves in the refrigerator boast huge gaps because he moved things around to store other things in here for a while and then never moved the preexisting items back. Three closed cookbooks are neatly stacked on a dry countertop.
Mitarai is on the side, behind a bowl of ramen containing chopsticks showing it's been touched, but the current level of broth only slightly lower than the higher traces of wetness on the edges of the bowl. "Resting his eyes", head on his folded arms. He's still wearing an apron over a school store T-shirt and gym shorts that he usually reserved for sleeping. His arms are covered up and down with small white bandaids over little knife cuts and occasional traces of hot water or other burns.]

[It's just a data recration of the school, but for you all, right now this is your reality. And in very real fashion it's coming apart. Not in any simple way. There's smoke and explosions. Time to gather and do a daring escape.]
