When you finally get to the end of the path, there is... indeed... nothing there. But, waiting for you at the end, somehow, is Eve. She is shimmering a lot-- similar to the glitching she had done before, but she doesn't freeze when she does it. However, otherwise, she looks relatively unharmed? Still, this area is new for her... and for Chichi, who is meowing for you all to come closer.

"I know... there's nothing here. And I don't know what happened just yet. But," and here she pauses, trying to catch her breath that she didn't know she was holding. "Just... tell me what you want to create. And I'll create it."

To show that she means it, she looks next to her, and well, a giant willow tree appears. She's always wanted one, and well, now that she doesn't have the school as a backbone for her location simulation? The sky's the limit. At least, that's how it feels anyway.

"I'm very sorry for the disruption."

She folds her hands in front of herself-- and the shimmering... is just not stopping. But otherwise, things look fine? Enjoy the simulated breeze with that willow tree.

Strictly speaking, there's not really a reason it would disappear some other way. There's an elaborate visual filter over everything that happens in this program - like Eve shimmering and the skin of data transferring androids turning white. Our minds are probably filling in the blanks for how a time-sensitive disappearing environment should appear.

I think...maybe there's a chance we can work through it. Somehow.

Sometimes even a chance approaching zero is as good as a hundred percent.
