[You know that's. That's fair to think they were contacts. Actually, it gets a laugh from him.]

Yeah, a lot of people asked me if they were. But uhh... well, you know Murdoc, right? He uhhh.. I was working at a keyboard shop and Murdoc drove a car right through the front window. He wanted to steal keyboards and start a new band, and ended up uhh... runnin' his car right into my face? It made all the blood pool to the front of one of my eyes and I was in a coma for a year, I think.

[It's a lot to take in, he knows. When he told Rebecca about it she absolutely freaked out.]

While I was in a coma he was tryin' to show off to a couple of tramps and crashed his car again, and I was in the backseat without a seatbelt on so I flew out the windshield and hit my face on a curb which did the same to my other eye. But on the bright side, it woke me up from my coma and uhhhh.... yeah. The rest is history.
