[ "Cute" really isn't what they were going for, but he keeps himself from looking too dejected over it.

More than that, the word "cop" leaves kind of a sour taste in his mouth. Between the way that detective Goro Akechi and the police back home were always going after the Phantom Thieves and the way Jake had outed him as the culprit during the entrance exam, Mishima really doesn't look on law enforcement with too much fondness. But, well. This was probably one of the "detectives" Yoosung had mentioned that presumably helped catch his killer, so... he'll try to set aside his personal distaste. ]
