Oh, sure thing. [what do... you do when someone's upset about dying. he's not sure how to handle that. uh. what do normal people ask someone after a trauma?] ...You want some water?

Sure don't! Do you? [He's fine with admitting that much. But he nods and gives a little salute.] No problem, one glass of water, coming right up! I'll be back with that in a jiffy! [And... off he goes. That'll give you another few moments to breathe, Rebecca, aren't you glad?]

[ How strange... As he leaves, Rebecca just sits there and reflects and then murmurs: ]

No, I...really don't, do I...?

[He comes back soon enough and holds out the glass to her.]

[ ...She didn't actually think he'd come back and it leaves her a little surprised.

He really is...just a kid in some ways, isn't he? ]

[ After a belated moment, she takes the glass and starts sipping, slowly. ]

No problem! If you need anything else, you can just ask. [He's helpful, if nothing else.] Ending up here didn't bother me all that much, but I guess it wouldn't be like that for everyone.

[ There's things she has to say to Henry.

How she wished she'd reached out to him more, and not just immediately judged. How she wished she'd remembered, he was a developing young adult- a teenager like so many of the rest of them, and it was harsh to dismiss him so quickly.
...How he was stupid, in what he'd done, and in doing so he caused them all a lot of heartache. How...she'd never wanted to find a dead body again, and yet--

...She can't say half of it because she's too caught in her own head, and she can't say the other half because you don't just say that to someone, so it's swallowed down with the rest of the horrible selfish bits of herself she's trying to eradicate.

But...she does look at him, properly, and finds her voice after a few long moments of fighting. ]
