R1 DEADLAND
[it’s strange, for the people who were already dead, the shift in scenery is sudden and complete. For those who have just arrived? It’s like you’re back where you left?
How strange.
But if you ever need her, you can always reach out to the guardian of this place.]
LOCATIONS
Note: locations lag a week behind the living counterparts

I don't know. I get wanting to be able to help more, but if this actually changes your perception, that seems like it has the potential to really mess things up. Like, what if someone succeeded in getting into your head and then made you believe that they hadn't, and everything was fine? Wouldn't that just make things more dangerous?
Besides, I know we're all AIs here or whatever anyway, but you don't want to be less human.

But if someone wanted to do that, they could do that anyway. Whether I change or stay the same, that's not something I can control from the inside.... We're programs, Yuuki. Me having a normal college student level of know-how isn't going to change that. If that's the case, shouldn't I do everything I can?

[ KIND OF LIKE IF YOU WERE THE SOLE ADMINISTRATOR OF A REALLY IMPORTANT WEBSITE!!!! This is exactly why the gun came in!! ]
And you're the last person here I'd want to risk losing, so.
[ Yeah. ]
If you still really want to do it, maybe we can like... get your options in writing or something? Or get Connor-san to explain them better.

To a point he's approaching this with the mindset that he's willing to sacrifice himself, if not wholly then merely a portion of his humanity, for the sake of those he wants to defend. Of all of them, though, Yuuki is number one. Hearing him express the same sentiment back at him, he feels a pang of guilt intermingled with a rush of warmth that makes him turn his face away for a moment.]
I... I understand.
[Well, at any rate, if Mishima's right about this... losing the gamble would mean he wouldn't be able to be there for him anymore. With that in mind, he really should have been considering his options more carefully. It's lucky his co-guildmaster has a good head on his shoulders - when it comes to keeping him in check, at least.]
