He didn't mean to make him feel bad for being upset with what he said -- he wasn't even really trying to give him advice honestly he was just thanking him... but he's also used to being Bad With Words, so he reaches out and gently places his hand on Waver's nervous ones to stop him from fumbling them anymore.]

But it's fine to mope about it, you know? This place is uh.. well, kind of a second chance for us, I guess. And some of us are tryin' to make the most of it and make up for what we did, but that don't mean that you have to stop being mad at Mitarai for what that knob did to you.
