Remember when you guys used the Ouija board and stuff to talk to us? 'Cos you actually, like, talked to us. And um.. well. Miss Vivienne made a simu..la..tron... er.. of the school, and she managed to save our memories and junk and make us into codes.

[IT'S FINE.... the cool part about being robots in a simulation is regaining all your memories and boy has he remembered quite a few times where he was being yelled at over stupider

He does recoil a little bit, kind of expecting another big yell but this time he's actually prepared for it so he reaches out and gently puts his hands on Waver's shoulders to try and calm him down.]

Yeah, b-but it's not all bad. I.. I think. Connor's been helpin' us figure out all the cool stuff that we get to do now since he's been a robot longer than any of us have.

I tried my best to keep my head up 'till the last second and I've been tryin' to do that too even here 'cos.. well.

[ waver...actually looks at him in shock. he never expected 2d to actually thank him for something like that, especially after such a traumatic execution. if anything, he expected 2d to hate him, or something like that.

[2-D offers a bit of a sheepish smile as he says that, and he notices him feeling self conscious with the body language from his hands. He didn't mean to make him feel bad for being upset with what he said -- he wasn't even really trying to give him advice honestly he was just thanking him... but he's also used to being Bad With Words, so he reaches out and gently places his hand on Waver's nervous ones to stop him from fumbling them anymore.]

But it's fine to mope about it, you know? This place is uh.. well, kind of a second chance for us, I guess. And some of us are tryin' to make the most of it and make up for what we did, but that don't mean that you have to stop being mad at Mitarai for what that knob did to you.

[ waver's ears and cheeks turn a surprised shade of pink with embarrassment when he feels 2d's hands on his own, and that's enough to stop him from fidgeting. instead, he looks up, listening to 2d speak.

[At the mention of Mitarai's motive, 2-D looks at Waver with.. quite a blank stare. Like he doesn't quite comprehend the mere concept of murdering someone for a message, of all things.]
